At Least 1 Killed in Lancaster Crash at 50th Street and East Avenue

Lancaster, California (January 15, 2019) – At least one person was killed after a multi-vehicle collision Tuesday morning in the area of Lancaster, according to a local news source.
The accident happened at around 5:45 a.m. Tuesday, at 50th Street and East Avenue.
As per the report, a black Mercedes crashed into a bale of hay. The impact caused multiple bales of hay to end up in the roadway and caused several collisions. A black Jeep Cherokee, a black sedan and silver SUV collided either with hay or each other.
Emergency crews along with medical personnel responded to the scene and confirmed one person dead at the scene as a result of the collision. The number of the injured persons and their current condition was not immediately released.
Authorities said that at least three vehicles were towed away from the crash site following the accident.
