Lakeside, CA: Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Woodside Avenue
1 Killed in Lakeside Pedestrian Crash on 12250 Woodside Avenue Friday Afternoon
Lakeside, California (December 5, 2020) – A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle Friday afternoon in Lakeside, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP said the accident was reported at around 5:45 p.m. in the 12250 block of Woodside Avenue.
Firefighters responded to the scene to help the victim, but sadly, the pedestrian did not survive.
The report said an abandoned MTS vehicle that was blocking the No. 2 lane was towed away from the scene. It was not clear if it was involved in the accident.
An investigation to determine the cause of the crash is ongoing.
