2 Skydivers Injured in Lake Elsinore Crash on Cereal Street
Lake Elsinore, California (February 16, 2019) – Two skydivers were injured when they landed on top of a building in Lake Elsinore Saturday afternoon, authorities said.
The accident took place at around 3:30 p.m. in the 20000 block of Cereal Street, which runs adjacent to Skylark Field Airport, home of Skydive Elsinore.
According to the authorities, the two skydivers landed in the middle of a group of several industrial buildings next to Skydive Elsinore. It was immediately unclear why they landed off course.
One skydiver sustained moderate injuries while the other suffered minor injuries. Both were transported to a hospital.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
