Major Injuries Sustained in Lake Elsinore Accident on Highway 74 (Ortega Highway) near Grand Avenue
Lake Elsinore, California (June 18, 2019) – Major injuries were sustained after an alleged DUI collision Monday night in the area of Lake Elsinore, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at around 10:13 p.m. Monday, June 17, on Highway 74(Ortega Highway), west of Grand Avenue.
As per the CHP officials, a dark blue SUV swerved into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into another vehicle.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the crash victims. The number of patients and their current condition were not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
Traffic delays were experienced in the area.
