La Puente, California (August 6, 2019) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after a traffic collision Monday afternoon in the area of La Puente, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at around 7:23 p.m. Monday, August 5, at Temple Avenue and Puente Avenue.

As per the CHP officials, a vehicle and a pedestrian crashed for reasons still under investigation.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the pedestrian. The patient was transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries as a result of the crash.

The name of the victim and their current condition were not immediately known.
