Major Injuries Sustained in Knights Landing Crash on Highway 113 near Buell Road
Knights Landing, California (February 26, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a head-on crash that happened Thursday night in Knights Landing, resulting in major injuries.
According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles collided head-on at about 9:49 p.m. on Highway 113, just south of Buell Road.
Both vehicles went off the roadway after the impact, and one of them was smoking, as per the report.
At least one person was seriously injured in the crash, and an ambulance was requested to the scene to take the victim to the hospital.
Officers closed all highway lanes following the accident until at 11:11 p.m. when they were reopened.
CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
