Klayton Kidd ID’d as Person Killed in Cambria Motorcycle Accident on Highway 1 near Ardath Drive

Cambria, California (May 27, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol has identified Klayton H. Kidd, 75, of Morro Bay, as the motorcyclist who was killed in a traffic crash earlier this month in Cambria.
On Friday afternoon, May 15, the officials responded to the deadly crash in the southbound lanes of Highway 1, south of Ardath Drive.
A Jeep turned onto the shoulder of the roadway to make a U-turn. As a result, the Jeep turned into the pathway of Kidd, causing the accident, the police said.

Kidd died as a result of injuries sustained from the accident.
Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the crash.
More details about the mishap were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
