29-Year-Old Kingsburg Woman Dies Following Hanford Crash at 6th Avenue and Excelsior Avenue

Hanford, California (July 10, 2021) – A two-vehicle collision has claimed the life of a woman Saturday night at an intersection near Hanford in Kings County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal crash occurred at around 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of 6th Avenue and Excelsior Avenue.
The CHP said a car was traveling on 6th Avenue when, for unknown reasons, it collided with another vehicle.

A 29-year-old Kingsburg woman, who was riding as a passenger in the first car, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.
Authorities determined that the driver of the other car was not under the influence when the accident happened.
