One Person Killed in Keyes Collision at East Keyes Road and Mountain View Road
Keyes, California (July 30, 2021) – A head-on crash has claimed the life of at least one person Friday morning east of Keyes, the California Highway Patrol said.
At around 6:22 a.m., the CHP officers responded to the area of East Keyes Road and Mountain View Road to investigate the report of a traffic collision between a sedan and a big rig.
Upon arrival, they determined that the sedan and the big rig collided for unknown reasons near the intersection.
Deadly Keyes Road Accident
At least one person was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.
Further details about the crash were not immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
