Truckee, California (July 29, 2021) – One of the six victims of a deadly crash that occurred in Truckee on Monday has been identified as Kevin Kvarnlov of Coachella Valley, according to a local news source.
The incident was reported in the area near the Ponderosa Golf Course shortly after 1 p.m. on Monday, July 26.
According to the news source, the plane, a Bombardier CL 600 jet, was traveling from Coeur d’ Alene in Idaho when it tried to land at the Truckee Tahoe Airport and crashed into a wooded area.

The plane caught fire after crashing near the golf course.
Kvarnlov was among the six occupants of the plane. All six occupants died in the wreck.
The flames were put out by firefighters who rushed to the scene.
The accident is under investigation by the FAA and the NTSB.
