Ketly Sylla Struck, Killed by Vehicle on 10 Freeway in San Gabriel
Ketly Sylla Identified as Woman Killed in San Gabriel Pedestrian Accident on 10 Freeway near Jackson Street
San Gabriel, California (September 24, 2019) – Authorities have identified the woman who died in a pedestrian accident that happened in San Gabriel last week Thursday as Ketly Sylla, 22.
The fatal accident was reported to the California Highway Patrol officers at about 11:00 p.m. Thursday, September 19 on 10 Freeway, just west of Jackson Street.
The CHP said at least one vehicle struck Sylla on the Interstate 10 Freeway. Details of what led up to the accident are unknown at this time.
Sylla sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash. She was transported to a nearby trauma center where she was pronounced dead on Friday, September 20th.
No details were given about the driver of the vehicle involved.
The crash is currently being investigated by CHP.
