Kerman, California (September 12, 2020) – A man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Saturday morning in Kerman, authorities said.

The crash happened at about 9:00 a.m. at the intersection of Kamm Avenue and Marks Avenue.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a 1996 Toyota Corolla, driven by the 65-year-old man, was traveling westbound on Kamm Avenue approaching Marks Avenue when, for unknown reasons, it failed to yield for a stop sign at Marks Avenue.

The Toyota was reportedly broadsided by a 2015 Chevrolet pickup pulling a cattle trailer northbound on Marks Avenue.

Sadly, the 65-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the accident.
