63-Year-Old Kenneth Law Dies in Concord Pedestrian Accident at Willow Pass Road and Parkside Drive
Concord, California (December 17, 2019) – The man who was struck and killed by a vehicle on Friday night in Concord has been identified as Kenneth Law, 63, of Concord, according to the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash was reported at around 9:34 p.m. December 13, at Willow Pass Road and Parkside Drive.
Concord police said a vehicle traveling eastbound on Willow Pass Road struck Law, who was riding on a wheelchair.
Kenneth Law Killed in Concord Auto-Pedestrian Crash
Law was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The woman driving the involved vehicle, a 31-year-old from Antioch, was unhurt and remained at the scene.
Police said the pedestrian was crossing the road outside of the crosswalk when he was hit.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to be factors in the crash.
The incident is under investigation.
