Katarina Tai Injured in Car Crash at N Rancho Drive and Herring Road
1 Hospitalized after Arvin Car Accident at N Rancho Drive and Herring Road
Arvin, California (June 15, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol said two vehicles collided Monday morning in Arvin, sending one person to the hospital with minor injuries.
The victim was identified by CHP as Katarina Tai.
Authorities said the accident occurred at about 5:53 a.m. at the intersection of N Rancho Drive and Herring Road.
The collision involved a gray Ford Taurus and another car.
Reportedly, the Taurus ran a stop sign at the intersection and collided with the other vehicle. That vehicle allegedly flipped over after the first impact.
Tai suffered minor injuries in the crash and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Cruz Tai, her father, accompanied her to the hospital. He was not injured.
CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
