San Clemente, California (January 29, 2019) – 31-year-old Karely Sotello has been identified as the pedestrian struck and killed by a vehicle Friday evening in the area of San Clemente, according to a local news source.
The collision happened at around 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 25, on Avenida Del Presidente, just north of Avenida De Las Palmera.
As per the report, Sotello was hit by a northbound SUV for unknown reasons.
Sotello suffered fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene. Her city of residence remained unknown at this time.
Officials confirmed that the involved driver identified as a woman in her 50s remained at the scene after the collision and cooperated with authorities.
