Kaitlynn Houghton Killed in Car Crash at Avenue F and 60th Street West in Lancaster
Lancaster, California (November 15, 2019) – 21-year-old Kaitlynn Renee Houghton was identified as the woman who was killed in a car crash at an intersection in Lancaster on Thursday afternoon.
According to a local news source, the accident happened at the intersection of Avenue F and 60th Street West at about 12:26 p.m. November 14.
Houghton was reportedly driving a red Lexus westbound on Avenue F when she failed to stop at a stop sign and crashed into a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Brenna Romines.
The impact of the collision sent both vehicles off the roadway where they overturned.
Houghton succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
Romines and her passenger were injured in the crash and were transported to Antelope Valley Hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
