Jurupa Valley, California (February 28, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Saturday evening traffic accident that killed two people and left two other parties, including a Riverside County sheriff’s deputy, injured in Jurupa Valley.
The accident occurred at about 7:34 p.m., on February 27, at Van Buren Boulevard at 56th Street.
According to the police, a police vehicle collided with possibly an Amazon delivery van and a car in unclear circumstances.

Sadly, two people sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
The sheriff’s deputy and one other person were injured and were hospitalized in unknown conditions.
The deputy was apparently driving to the scene of another collision when the deadly crash occurred.
Van Buren Boulevard was closed between Jurupa Road and Limonite Avenue due to the collision.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
