Judy Clark ID’d as Person Injured in Costa Mesa Crash on Costa Mesa Freeway near Paularino Avenue
Costa Mesa, California (February 20, 2021) – Judy Clark, 64, has been identified as the person who was injured in a Friday afternoon traffic accident that killed a 47-year-old woman in Costa Mesa, the CHP said.
The deadly accident transpired at about 1:30 p.m., on February 19, on the northbound Costa Mesa (55) Freeway, north of Paularino Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 1997 Chevrolet Suburban, driven by the woman, was traveling on the roadway when it veered to the right, crashed through a guardrail and careened down an embankment.

Sadly, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Clark, who was a passenger in the vehicle, sustained moderate injuries in the accident.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
