Juan Villarreal Killed in Hit-And-Run Bicycle Accident at Highway 180 and Shasta Avenue in Kerman
Juan Villarreal ID’d as Bicyclist Killed in Kerman Crash

Kerman, California (January 15, 2019) – The man who was killed last week Wednesday in an alleged hit-and-run accident near Kerman has been identified as Juan Jesus Villarreal, 31, of Kerman, according to a local news source.
The deadly crash was reported at around 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 9 near the intersection of Highway 180 and Shasta Avenue.
The California Highway Patrol said Villarreal was riding his bike when for an unknown reason he was hit by a vehicle and dragged approximately 100 feet near the intersection.
The driver involved reportedly fled the scene without rendering aid to Villarreal. Emergency responders declared the victim deceased at the scene.
Police are searching for the hit-and-run driver. The suspect vehicle was described as a maroon car which may have front-end damage to the hood, windshield or headlights.
The crash remains under investigation.
