Juan Moreno Arrested after Stanislaus County Jet Skiing Accident That Injured Two Teens on Modesto Reservoir

Stanislaus County, California (June 24, 2019) – Juan Moreno, 43, has been identified as the man accused of crashing into two teens riding a jet ski Saturday evening in Stanislaus County, according to authorities.
The incident happened at about 5:00 p.m. Saturday, June 22 on Modesto Reservoir.
Authorities said two girls aged 14 and 15 were riding on a jet ski in the reservoir when they collided with a motorboat operated by Moreno.
The elder girl was rushed to a hospital with critical injuries. The other victim was hospitalized with broken bones and was expected to recover.

Moreno was arrested on boating while under the influence of alcohol.
The accident is under investigation.
