Juan Gonzalez ID’d as Man Killed in Riverside Pedestrian Crash on 215 Freeway near Center Street
Riverside, California (March 14, 2021) – Juan Gonzalez, 42, of Santa Ana, has been identified as the male pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle on Saturday morning in Riverside, according to the coroner’s office.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal collision happened along the southbound lanes of 215 Freeway near Center Street at about 11:45 a.m. on March 13.
The CHP said Gonzalez was walking on the freeway when a car struck him near the center divider.

Sadly, Gonzalez was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Information about the involved vehicle was not immediately available.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
