Pastor Juan Beltran Critically Injured in South Los Angeles Pedestrian Accident on East 49th Street
South Los Angeles, California (February 22, 2021) – Juan Beltran, 51, was critically injured Sunday morning in a hit-and-run accident in South Los Angeles, according to a local news source.
The pedestrian crash happened at around 10:51 a.m. Sunday, February 21, in the 1100 block of East 49th Street, authorities reported.
According to the authorities, Beltran was crossing the street when he was hit by a vehicle.

Beltran, a pastor and a father of six, was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
The driver of the involved vehicle did not stop to render aid to Beltran and fled the scene. The suspect’s vehicle was described as a 2004-2009 light green Toyota Prius and likely has heavy damage to the front windshield.
Authorities are still searching for the hit-and-run suspect.
A reward of up to $25,000 is available for anyone who provides information leading to the suspect’s arrest.
