Joshua Pumphrey ID’d as Bicyclist Killed in Fullerton Traffic Accident at Bastanchury Road and Lancer Way
Joshua Pumphrey Fatal Fullerton Bicycle Collision at Bastanchury Road and Lancer Way Monday Night
Fullerton, California (December 2, 2020) – The Fullerton Police Department has identified 33-year-old Joshua Pumphrey as the victim who died following a bicycle accident Monday afternoon in Fullerton.
The 5:45 p.m. deadly crash occurred in the area of Bastanchury Road and Lancer Way on November 23.
A white Mercedes-Benz heading south on Bastanchury Road hit Pumphrey while riding with a group of bicyclists.
The riders were reportedly turning at the intersection prior to the collision.
Fullerton Bicycle Accident Left Joshua Pumphrey Dead
Pumphrey died at the hospital while undergoing treatment.
The involved Mercedes operator, who remained at the scene after the wreck, was not believed to have been under the influence.
An investigation into the fatal crash is underway.
