Joshua Ferrell Arrested after Middletown Crash on Highway 175 near Anderson Springs Road
Middletown, California (May 14, 2019) – A 31-year-old driver was arrested after a suspected DUI traffic collision that happened Sunday afternoon in Middletown, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The collision took place at about 5:36 p.m. May 12, on Highway 175, just north of Anderson Springs Road.
Authorities said Joshua Ferrell, 31, of Middletown, was driving a 1992 Toyota pickup westbound on Highway 175 when he drifted into the eastbound side and collided with an oncoming 2006 Nissan Altima.
The driver of the Altima, Cole Jensen, 17, of Middletown, was airlifted to Napa’s Queen of the Valley Medical Center for treatment of major injuries.

Ferrell fled the scene after the crash but he was located in the nearby bushes. He was transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital and later arrested on suspicion of DUI.
The crash is under investigation.
