Joseph Polston Identified as Man Hit and Killed by Car in Mountain View
Joseph Polston Killed in Mountain View Accident on E. El Camino, January 28
Mountain View, California (February 7, 2019) – The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office has identified the man who was hit and killed by a car last month as 61-year-old Joseph Polston.
The accident was reported at about 8:50 p.m. on January 28 in the 100 block of E. El Camino Real near Yuba Drive.
A car traveling west on El Camino real hit Polston after he stepped off the pavement into the roadway.
Polston was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities said he was a transient.
As per the police, the driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
No further details were released about the wreck.
Officers are investigating the accident.
