Joseph Parekkatt Seriously Hurt in Colusa County Crash on Highway 20 and Highway 16
Colusa County, California (October 14, 2019) – Authorities have identified a passenger severely injured after a fatal traffic crash on Thursday last week near Williams as Father Joseph Parekkatt of St. Anne Parish in Walnut Creek.
The collision happened at about 2:20 p.m. Thursday, October 10, on Highway 20, near the town of Wilbur Springs.
As per the CHP officials, a Toyota Prius was traveling west on Highway 16 when it pulled in front of an oncoming tractor-trailer on Highway 20. The truck then broadsided the Prius occupied by three men including Parekkatt.
