Jose Rivera Arrested For DUI after 3-Vehicle Crash that Sends 4 to Hospital in Pacifica
4 Injured in Pacifica Car Accident at State Highway 1 and Rockaway Beach Avenue; Jose Rivera Arrested
Pacifica, California (July 26, 2020) – The driver who caused a traffic accident that left four people injured late Saturday night at an intersection in Pacifica has been arrested.
The three-vehicle crash occurred at around 10:10 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at State Highway 1 and Rockaway Beach Avenue.
Authorities said three vehicles collided at the Pacifica intersection for unknown reasons.
Two adults, who were passengers in one of the involved vehicles, were transported to a local hospital with unspecified injuries. The driver of the second vehicle was also taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
Rivera, who was the driver of the third vehicle, was also transported to the hospital to be treated for his injuries before being arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and causing injury.
The accident remains under investigation.
