Driver Killed in Woodland Car Accident on 5 Freeway Near County Road 102 ID’d as Jose Molina Felix

Yolo County, California (February 20, 2020) – 40-year-old Jose Molina Felix of Ukiah has been identified as the motorist who died following a multi-vehicle accident that happened in the area of Woodland last week Friday afternoon on February 14, according to Yolo County Coroner’s Office.
The fatal traffic collision was reported shortly before 4:30 p.m. on the southbound 5 Freeway, south of County Road 102 in Yolo County.
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident involved a Volkswagen driven by Felix southbound on 5 Freeway ahead of a Chevrolet and a Ford. The initial report indicated that the Chevrolet driver was unable to slow or stop his vehicle and hence collided with the Volkswagen.
Due to the impact of the collision, the Volkswagen was pushed in a southerly direction, where it crashed with the Ford.

Sadly, Felix was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The CHP said at least another unidentified victim was injured following the wreck
