Jose Hernandez Killed in San Jose Pedestrian Crash on Story Road near Karl Street
San Jose, California (December 15, 2019) – The pedestrian who was fatally hit by a vehicle earlier this month in East San Jose has been identified as Jose Luis Hernandez, 37, according to the Santa Clara County coroner’s office.
The deadly crash took place just after 10 p.m. December 7, on Story Road near Karl Street.
Police said Hernandez was on Story Road when he was hit by an eastbound black Hyundai sedan.

Hernandez was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and reportedly cooperated with the investigators.
Police said alcohol and drugs were not suspected to be factors in the crash.
The incident is under investigation.
