Jose Gonzales ID’d as Person Hospitalized after Tulare County Car Crash on Highway 137 near Road 24
Tulare County, California (November 20, 2020) – Jose Gonzales, 33, has been identified as the person who was seriously injured in a fatal head-on crash on Friday morning in Tulare County, authorities said,
The deadly accident happened at about 2:15 a.m. on Highway 137 near Road 24.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Subaru BRZ, driven by a 20-year-old man, collided head-on with a GMC Sierra, operated by Gonzales, on the highway in unclear circumstances.
Jose Gonzales Injured in Fatal Tulare County Car Crash
Sadly, the 20-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gonzales was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center with major injuries.
Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
