Jose Enriquez Esquivel ID’d as Man Killed in Oxnard Forklift Accident on South Rice Avenue
Oxnard, California (July 18, 2019) – The man who was killed in a forklift accident last Thursday afternoon near Oxnard has been identified as Jose Luis Enriquez Esquivel, 51, of Oxnard, according to the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The accident was reported at about 3:45 p.m. July 11, in the 1900 block of South Rice Avenue.
Authorities said Esquivel was struck by a forklift that rolled over him.

Esquivel was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health is conducting an investigation into the industrial accident.
