Jose Diaz Killed in 2-Car Accident at Union Avenue and Bear Mountain Boulevard in Bakersfield
Bakersfield, California (January 9, 2020) – A 39-year-old man who was killed in a car crash on December 20, in Bakersfield, has been identified.
The accident happened at about 6:50 a.m. in the area of South Union Avenue and Bear Mountain Boulevard December 20, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Jose Leonardo Diaz of Santa Ana was driving a car on the roadway when he collided with a second car for unknown reasons.
Diaz and the unidentified driver of the second car were killed in the accident.
A passenger in one of the cars sustained major injuries in the accident and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
No other information about the accident was provided.
The authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
