Jose Avila-Rosas, Ziomara Zaragoza, Prisma Montoya, Antonio Santibanez Killed in Santa Ana Car Accident at Tustin Avenue and Fourth Street
Santa Ana, California (February 18, 2019) – The authorities have disclosed the identities of the four people who were killed in a DUI-related car accident in Santa Ana on Sunday, February 17.
According to a local news source, the fatal crash happened in the area of Fourth Street and Tustin Avenue at about 2:30 a.m.
The authorities said Vincent Michael Calvo had been driving a car under the influence of drugs or alcohol when he crashed into a white Chevrolet pickup truck at the intersection. The impact of the crash caused the Chevrolet to overturn onto its roof.
All the four occupants of the pickup truck were killed in the crash.
The deceased were identified as 31-year-old Jose Alberto Avila-Rosas of Santa Ana, 23-year-old Ziomara Zaragoza of Garden Grove, 34-year-old Prisma Yuliana Montoya of Santa Ana and 23-year-old Antonio Alonso Santibanez of Orange.
Calvo sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital before being arrested.
No other information was provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
