Jorge Jimenez, Snelling Man and Parlier Woman Killed in Tragic Crash on Oakdale-Waterford Highway
Oakdale, California (August 29, 2019) – Authorities have identified one of the three people who died in a head-on collision that happened Wednesday night in Oakdale as 21-year-old Jorge Flores Jimenez, of Oakdale.
According to Modesto CHP officers, the accident occurred at about 9:55 p.m. on Oakdale-Waterford Highway, south of Milnes Road.
Officers said Jimenez was traveling southbound on the highway in a 2010 Chevy Camaro and a man and a woman were northbound on the highway in a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta. For unknown reasons, Jimenez’s car veered into the northbound lane and crashed head-on into the Jetta.
The Jetta overturned in the crash and came to rest on the east shoulder of the highway on its right side. The Camaro came to rest in the northbound lane, facing east.
Jimenez and the two occupants of the Jetta, a 29-year-old Snelling man, and a 60-year-old Parlier woman, were pronounced dead at the scene. The names of the Snelling man and Parlier woman will be released when authorities notify their next of kin.

The crash forced the closure of the highway until about 2 a.m. Thursday.
