John Hamilton ID’d as Man Killed in Menifee Pedestrian Crash at Laguna Vista Drive and Rockport Road
Menifee, California (July 31, 2020) – John Hamilton, 75, of Menifee, has been identified as the man who was struck and killed by a vehicle on Wednesday night in Menifee, authorities said.
The deadly pedestrian accident transpired at about 7:20 p.m., on July 29, at the intersection of Laguna Vista Drive and Rockport Road.
According to the police, Hamilton was walking northbound on Laguna Vista in a crosswalk when he was struck by a car traveling westbound on Rockport Road.
The involved driver, a 59-year-old Menifee resident, reportedly yielded for a stop sign but did not see Hamilton.

Hamilton was transported to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar, where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with the officials.
