John Dupray ID’d as 69-Year-Old Man Killed in Simi Valley Pedestrian Crash at First Street and Pacific Avenue
Simi Valley, California (January 16, 2021) – John Dupray, 69, of Simi Valley, has been identified as the male pedestrian who was hit and killed by a vehicle on Thursday evening in Simi Valley, authorities said.
The deadly pedestrian accident happened at about 6:33 p.m., on January 15, at First Street and Pacific Avenue.
According to the police, Dupray was attempting to cross First Street eastbound from the southwest corner of Pacific Avenue in an unmarked crosswalk when a 2019 Chevy Colorado struck him.
The pickup truck was allegedly headed northbound in the number two lane of First Street when it struck Dupray.

Sadly, Dupray was pronounced dead at the scene.
The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
An investigation into the collision is underway.
