Jesus Sanchez Injured in DUI Crash on Highway 29 in Yountville

Yountville, California (November 26, 2020) – Jesus Sanchez, 57, of San Pablo, was injured after his van was rear-ended by another vehicle in Yountville Sunday night, according to a local news source.

The accident happened at around 10:20 p.m. Sunday, November 22, on Highway 29, just north of California Drive.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Daniel Lopez-Beltran, 22, of Napa, was driving a car southbound on Highway 29 when, for unknown reasons, he crashed into the back of the van driven by Sanchez.

Due to the impact, the van veered off the roadway and crashed into a fence.

Sanchez went to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

Lopez-Beltran was taken to Queen of the Valley Medical Center with major injuries while his passenger, Carlos Delgado, 19, of Napa, was also transported to the hospital after complaining of pain.

Both drivers were arrested on suspicion of DUI.

The crash remains under investigation.
