Jesus Francisco Torres ID’d as Pedestrian Killed in Indio Crash on 10 Freeway near Jefferson Street
Indio, California (May 26, 2019) – The Riverside County sheriff-coroner has identified Jesus Francisco Torres, 39 as the pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle early Saturday morning in Indio.
The deadly pedestrian accident happened at about 1 a.m. Saturday, May 25 on westbound Interstate 10 Freeway, just west of Jefferson Street.
Authorities said Torres was walking in the area when for an unknown reason, he was struck by a vehicle.

First responders found Torres lying at the scene. Torres was pronounced dead at the scene.
No further details were immediately provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
