Jesse Schouboe ID’d as Man Killed in Half Moon Bay Car Crash on Highway 1 near Dehoff Canyon Road

Half Moon Bay, California (March 6, 2021) – Authorities have identified the man who died Saturday night in an alleged DUI car accident that also left his wife injured in Half Moon Bay as Jesse Schouboe, 32, of Half Moon Bay.
The deadly crash happened at around 7:40 p.m. Saturday, February 27, on Highway 1, just south of Dehoff Canyon Road.
Authorities said Liana Felde, 28, of Feltona, was driving a 2020 Toyota Highlander southbound on Highway 1 when she allowed the vehicle to cross over the double yellow center median into the opposite lane, where it collided head-on with an oncoming 2010 Honda CRV, driven by Schouboe’s wife.
After the impact, the Honda flipped over onto the passenger side.
Deadly Crash on Highway 1 in Half Moon Bay
Schouboe, who was riding as a passenger in the Honda, was declared deceased at the scene. His wife complained of pain after the crash and was taken to the Stanford Medical Center.
Felde sustained a broken arm and was also taken to the Stanford Medical Center for treatment before being arrested on suspicion of DUI and vehicular manslaughter.
On Tuesday, Felde was released from jail after posting a $130,000 bail.
The accident remains under investigation.
