Jesse Lovins Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Highway 70 near Fairgrounds Road in Quincy
Quincy, California (December 18, 2020) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a car in Quincy last week Friday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 70 near Fairgrounds Road at about 5:23 p.m. December 11.
32-year-old Jesse Lovins was walking in the area when he was struck by a 1998 Honda that was traveling westbound on Highway 70.
Lovins, a resident of Quincy, sustained major injuries in the accident and was transported to Plumas District Hospital for treatment.
The condition of the motorist, 53-year-old Jackie Fogleman, was not immediately established.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
