Hesperia, California (April 22, 2021) – The San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner’s Bureau has identified the driver who died Wednesday afternoon following a traffic crash at an intersection in Hesperia as Jerry William Lyon Sr., 70, of Hesperia.
The deadly multi-car wreck was reported at around 4:01 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, at the intersection of 7th Street and 3rd Avenue.
The authorities said the collision involved three vehicles. Details on what led up to the accident at this time are unknown.

Lyon Sr., who was one of the drivers, was taken to Desert Valley Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries at 4:31 p.m.
