San Jacinto, California (June 2, 2019) – The Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner has identified Jeffrey Woods, 27, of San Jacinto as the man who was killed Friday evening in a traffic accident in San Jacinto.

The deadly crash happened at about 5:05 p.m. Friday, May 31 in the 1800 block of South San Jacinto Avenue.

According to police, Woods was riding his motorcycle on South San Jacinto Avenue when he crashed into the side of a Toyota that was entering a Walmart parking lot.

Woods was ejected from the bike and threw him approximately 150 feet.

Fatal Motorcycle and Car Accident in Jacinto Friday

Woods was pronounced dead at the scene at about 5:22 p.m.

The Toyota driver complained of pain and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

All lanes of South San Jacinto were shut down following the crash.

Riverside County Sheriff San Jacinto Police Department is investigating the cause of the accident.
