Jeffrey McNerney Among 3 Killed in Paso Robles Crash on Nacimiento Lake near San Marcos Road
Paso Robles, California (September 3, 2019) – Jeffrey A. McNerney, 51, of Paso Robles has been identified as one of the three people killed in a traffic accident on Monday afternoon in Paso Robles.
The deadly accident took place at around 2:09 p.m. Monday, September 2, on Nacimiento Lake Drive, just east of San Marcos Road.
The CHP said a 2015 Dodge Dart was traveling eastbound on Nacimiento Lake Drive when, for an unknown reason, the Dodge drifted across the double yellow lines to pass another vehicle and collided head-on into a 2001 Ford F-150 that was traveling westbound.

The driver of the Dodge, identified as McNerney, and the right-front passenger of the Dodge, were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Ford suffered lacerations and cuts and sought medical treatment on his own. His female passenger was transported to a local trauma center, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Alcohol was believed to be a factor in the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
