Jeaneth Camacho ID’d as Woman Killed in Ashland Pedestrian Accident at Mission Boulevard and Gilbert Street

Ashland, California (January 18, 2021) – Authorities have identified the woman who died after being struck by two vehicles Thursday night in Ashland as Jeaneth Camacho, 56.
The deadly accident happened about 7:30 p.m. Thursday, January 14, at the intersection of Mission Boulevard and Gilbert Street.
The authorities said Camacho was walking across Mission Boulevard from east to west in a crosswalk when a silver Acura MDX struck her.
Camacho was then hit by another vehicle.

Camacho was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Acura, a 50-year-old Castro Valley man, remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. The driver of the second vehicle did not stop and fled the scene.
Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the crash.
