Jason Castellanos ID’d as Pedestrian Killed in San Bernardino Crash at North Sierra Way and West 18th Street
San Bernardino, California (August 28, 2019) – Jason Xavier Castellanos, 14, of San Bernardino, has been identified as the pedestrian who was killed Tuesday afternoon in a traffic accident at an intersection in San Bernardino.
The fatal accident was reported at about 3:23 p.m. Tuesday, August 27 at the intersection of North Sierra Way and West 18th Street.
According to reports, the accident involved a motorcycle, a pedestrian and several vehicles which collided at the intersection for unknown reasons.
The pedestrian, Castellanos, was rushed to Loma Linda University Medical Center, where he later died at 8:40 p.m.
Durham, who was a passenger on the motorcycle, sustained severe injuries in the accident. She was taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center Medical, where she was later pronounced dead at 9:58 p.m.
The San Bernardino Police Department is still investigating the cause of the fatal wreck.
