Tulare County, California (July 28, 2021) – Jason Bruss, 41, and Wilma Bruss, both of Phoenix, Arizona, were among four people who were injured last week on Tuesday in a traffic accident in Tulare County, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.

The three-vehicle crash was reported at around 3:44 p.m. on July 20 on Road 80, just south of Avenue 400.

As per the CHP report, a 2012 Hino, a 2016 Honda carrying a family of four, and a 2017 Freightliner were traveling northbound on Road 80 when they stopped for a red traffic light.

As the light turn green, the Freightliner proceeded into the intersection to make a right turn onto Avenue 400 eastbound. The Honda remained stopped to let the Freightliner make its turn.

For an unknown reason, the Hino continued in a northerly direction and rear-ended the Honda, which was then pushed into the back of the Freightliner.

4 Injured in 3-Vehicle Crash on Road 80 in Tulare County

The driver of the Honda, Jason Bruss, and his three passengers, Wilma Bruss, 3- and 9-year-old minors, were taken to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno with unspecified injuries.

The driver of the Hino, Juan Rauda, 71, of Dinuba, and the Freightliner’s driver, Amritpal Singh, 21 of Lawndaile, were not injured.
