Rider Killed in Jamul Bicycle Accident on Lyons Valley Road near Kae Crest and Monterey Crest Drive
Jamul, California (June 2, 2021) – A bicyclist was hit and killed by a vehicle on Wednesday evening in Jamul, authorities said.
The deadly bicycle accident transpired at about 7:30 p.m. on Lyons Valley Road between Kae Crest and Monterey Crest Drive.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the bicyclist was hit by a vehicle in unclear circumstances.
Sadly, the bicycle rider, whose name has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
