Jamie Pannyasywatts, Joel Saldana Hurt in Kelseyville Crash on Highway 29
Kelseyville, California (March 8, 2019) – Two people were injured in a crash involving a suspected DUI driver on Thursday near Kelseyville, according to a report by the CHP.
The wreck happened on Highway 29 on Thursday, March 7.
CHP said Joel Saldana, 26, was driving on the highway when he drifted across the double yellow line and crashed into the embankment. The vehicle then collided with a car driven by Jamie Pannyasywatts, 35, of Clearlake Oaks.
Pannyasywatts was transported to Sutter Lakeside Hospital in Lakeport with major injuries.
Saldana, a Kelseyville man, was hospitalized and later arrested on suspicion of felony DUI.
The crash remains under investigation.
