Baker, California (October 7, 2020) – James Jin Kao, 52, of Rancho Mirage, has been identified as one of the two victims who were killed in a two-vehicle accident on Friday night in Baker, authorities said.

The deadly two-vehicle accident transpired at about 9:48 p.m., on October 2, on Interstate 15 near mile marker 142.

According to the police, a compact car, operated by Isaac Martel White, 25, of Memphis, Tennessee, was traveling at a high rate of speed when it crossed over the center median and struck an SUV, driven by Kao, in unclear circumstances.

Sadly both Kao and White were pronounced dead at the scene.
