James Bogart ID’d as Man Killed in Port Costa Crash on Carquinez Scenic Drive near Canyon Lake Drive
Port Costa, California (March 2, 2021) – James Bogart, 64, of Vallejo, has been identified as the man who was killed in a traffic accident last week in Port Costa, authorities said.
The accident occurred at about 6:50 p.m., on February 24, on Carquinez Scenic Drive, just west of Canyon Lake Drive.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray Dodge Grand Caravan, driven by Bogart, was headed northbound on Carquinez Scenic Drive when it went off the roadway, down an embankment and crashed into a tree.

Sadly, Bogart was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was not clear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
